Roma: Assala IIbrahim incanta al Campidoglio

Assala Ibrahim incanta Roma! Un giardino internazionale di colori! Italia, Tunisia, Marocco, Iraq, Egitto tutti insieme al Campidoglio, grande fulcro di Roma per The Green Veil - Danze Iraqi, Danze della Mesopotamia nella sala della promoteca. L'evento, Benedetto da Padre Orazio Castorina della Basilica Ara Coeli, è stato accolto con grande calore ed entusiasmo. Un concentrato di arte e cultura, perfettamente fuse con musica, danza e pittura. Abbiamo avuto l'occasione di ammirare la Mostra di pittura di Santi Sindoni curata dalla Dott.ssa Brazzò, con la partecipazione della Fondazione Artè e presentata da Andrea De Liberis. Per la prima volta al Campidoglio è stata data l'importanza all'espressione artistica della danza folk araba, voluta fortemente da Samira Zenati e Maryem Bent Anis fondatrici del Centro Culturale Taus Club, con un'ospite d'eccezione la Maestra Irachena Assala Ibrahim. Assala Ibrahim, originaria di Bassora, è l'unica al mondo a diffondere lo studio delle danze irachene originali e quindi a preservarne la loro autenticità. Molte le associazioni che hanno aderito all'iniziativa presentandosi in abito tradizionale rappresentando la loro terra tra cui : la Comunità Palestinese Roma Lazio, Ayad Alhindi dell' Associazione culturale di Amicizia Iraq Italia, la Prof.ssa Licia Romano co-direttrice dell' Iraqi-Italian Mission Abu Tbeirah dell'Università La Sapienza insieme a Giulia Nunziata , laureanda in Archeologia, l'associazione donne Tunisine AL Mouhajer e moltre altre.Stupendo intervento danzante dell'ospite d'onore Assala Ibrahim, che ha incantato il pubblico presente in sala e Maryem Bent Anis e il suo gruppo.

Non sono mancati gli stage, 15 ore piene e intense di danza divise in due giorni per il percorso Iraqi Folk Dance Academy in Rome organizzato da Maryem Bent Anis a cui le ragazze hanno partecipato con grande entusiasmo studiando con dedizione questa preziosa disciplina .
